Denton-Lake Cities Rotary Club President, John Mackenzie, recently presented a Rotary Club new member packet to Dr. Kristen Brown.
Dr. Brown is Lake Dallas' Superintendent and shared with us some of the exciting new changes in the Lake Dallas ISD.

Currently, Lake Dallas ISD has 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school with a total of 3893 enrolled students. They proudly boast a graduating rate of 99.3%!

Two of the big changes in their district are the new Career & Technical Education building and the new Fine Arts building. These new departments offer 9 pathways of study that include 23 programs such as horticulture, media, graphic design, business management, sports marketing, robotics engineering, kinesiology, pharmacy, video gaming and computer programing.

We welcome Dr. Brown to DLCRC and are sure she will be a tremendous asset to our club.
