This award, for Rotary year 2019-2020 was awarded in recognition of our generous Rotary members. For year 2019-2020, Denton-Lake Cities Rotarians had the highest per capita giving of the 67 clubs in Rotary District 5790.
The award was given at the November 5th Denim and Pearls Gala in Granbury, Texas. The Gala is an annual event to fundraise for The Rotary Foundation.
Congratulations to the Denton-Lake Cities Rotary Club from district leadership for receiving the No. 1 in District award for the year 2019-2020 at the 2022 Rotary Foundation Gala. Our very own Gene Davenport and wife were also recognized as a Major Donor Level 2!
This year held in Granbury, Texas the Rotary Foundation Gala are held each year to honor all those that have made significant contributions to the Rotary Foundation. It was a perfect evening with gorgeous scenery and perfect weather.
